Hi dreamers! :)
I'm not very good at introducing myself, but I'll try to do the best here!
I had already heard about the fantastic world of Lucid Dreams by a friend of mine, but, sincerely, at first I thought he was joking. Then I started searching for anything related to dream's mechanism and I finally found this huge website.
After a few days of almost obsessed reading, I finally decided to register.
Generally, I'm not a good dreamer. My memory keeps track of many of my childhood dreams, but I can't always remember them so easily. My dreams are, instead, very complicated and detailed; is It a good or a bad sign?
As some threads suggest, yesterday I started to write a Dream Journal, and I do Reality Tests when I notice - in real life - that something's wrong. I'm really into this topic and I'd like to have my first experience of LDing.
Besides the different dream-inducing techniques that I'm learning, Is there anything I can do to speed up and improve the process of awareness?
I hope to have my first experience soon, and thank you - mod, admins and staff - for all the dream guides. They are clear and plain even for an italian girl - who's supposed to be me :) -.

Welcome to dreamviews. I'm glad you enjoy the site and I hope you stay for a while. Keeping a dream journal and just following the tutorials will lead to lucid dreams faster than anything else. Just be patient and don't give up :)

What zebrah said. Consistency is key. They'll arrive sooner or later. Depending on the person of course.
Welcome to DV. :)

I never recalled dreams before I started this, then I was LDing 2-6 times a night.
I think you'll realize just how REAL they feel. All five senses, but not bound by physical injuries and limitations.
I think your complexity is a good sign. I think it will lead to less stability issues and much better of a lucid experience.
Keeping a Dream Journal is an absolute must, and will boost your recall over 9000 percent. Obsessively posting on DV (i was once at 72.4 posts per day) seems to be the best way to attain dreams for me. :D

:welcome: It sounds like you are doing the right things. Work on getting your recall up and becoming comfortable with your dreams. Normal dreams can be just as fun as lucid dreams in their own way.

Hi vivvina! Welcome to Dreamviews :)
Lots of detail is good for vivid dreams. I'd love to hear about them if you ever feel like starting a dream journal on the site.
Some people are natural LDers, but for others it can take awhile before you get your first lucid dream. Be patient and keep trying :)

Thank you for your incredible kindness :)
As I said, the world of dreams is becoming like a magnet for me, so I'll keep practicing and practicing!
Even if nobody in this forum can see my face or hear my voice, I'm a little bit shy by nature! I will certainly start a Dream Journal when I'll have a quite high number of dreams to put in it. :)
