I think the best place to start is probably Puffin's Beginner's Guide To Lucid Dreaming. It goes through most of the various techniques and habits that people use to train themselves to become lucid. When it comes down to it, you need to find methods that work for you, but I recommend the use of MILD. Once you find a mantra that works well for you there's nothing which can stop you! :)
