so, i'm a noob:
...and I've only recently decided to pursue lucid dreaming. i have, throughout my life; had quite a few LD's, however, most of these have resulted from horrific nightmares, and equated to little more than me clawing at my eyes until i wake up. As such, i haven't really had much experience with lucidity, and my dream recollection is quite poor. (i have started a journal, but i can't really write much in it without remembering my dreams:()
Is this something that will come naturally through much time and practice, or is there a possibility of me (ever the impatient one) somehow increasing my recollection through some kind of changes to my lifestyle, and routine?
cheers,

When you're just starting out and can hardly remember anything if anything at all, don't worry about it.
A mantra can help your recall. Take a moment when you get into bed to relax and clear your mind of your work and relationships, etc. Then repeat to yourself in your mind or aloud that you will remember your dreams just like you always do. Imagine writing down whole dreams in your journal tomorrow. Make it the last thought before you fall asleep. If you believe you can do it, you can do it.
There may also be lucid aids like vitamins to help recall, though I'm not aware of any.

Thanks, will do.:)
I suppose all good things take time, so i can always do with a little more patience.
