First off, lets get it straight that you aren't on any drugs? I dont exaclty mean illegal ones, but maybe strong, over-the-counter pills or something can mess with your dreams and thoughts.
If not, then i have no clue how that happened? Did you try looking the man up again? Quite possibly the time you awoke in bed and found yourself hurting in those spots, that could have been a false awakening! Perform a reality check, confirm you are nto dreaming, then look the man up again! :) maybe you'll find you never truly looked up the man in real life, only in your dream.
Hope this helps!
You would probably get better answers if this was moved to Beyond Dreaming.
Your dream is very fascinating. Perhaps you shared a dream with this man. I had a friend who had repeated nightmares about a man attacking him. He looked up the man's name on Facebook and found the exact guy, matching picture and everything.
I'm really glad that you had the guts to e-mail him, I can't wait to hear about the response!

Welcome to Dreamviews :)
If a complete stranger from across the country suddenly contacted me to say that they had such a crazy dream and I was in it... it would take a lot of convincing, but if they managed to make me believe them, I would be extremely excited and interested in it. I guess not everyone would react that way though :P If you don't mind my asking, how did he respond?
Edit:
Didn't notice your new post before I posted mine. You can edit your posts instead of starting a new one... there's a time limit to it, though. I don't think you can edit a post any more after a day or so.
I can't blame you for being curious. I once had a dream with crowds of people where everyone kept saying "Jean Talbot is missing", so I googled "Jean Talbot" the next day just for fun. Didn't come up with anything, but I would have been pretty excited if I did :P
