Hello, I've just signed up and I thought I'd say hello and tell everyone a little bit about myself. I have just recently decided to buckle down and do everything I need to do so I can finally start having lucid dreams. I've been reading random articles online about the subject but I never tried to get into like I am now and I'm sure that this site will help me out a lot.

Try to lie still in bed for a minute or more when you first wake up. Don't let your mind rush off into what you have to do today, just lay there and relax. Then start to think back to what you were just doing/dreaming. Usually you can remember at least one key point or something that stood out from one of your dreams. Then from there try to connect other images.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll be reading a lot of the tutorials/articles tomorrow. I'm gonna start tonight off by setting my alarm for 4 1/2, 6, and 7 1/2 hours after I go to sleep as Jarrhead suggested earlier today. :)
AAAND keep the notebook under the pillow. ;)

I can't recommend more to keep a dream journal, I find it so entertaining and I believe it really helps me keep my focus and intent towards dreaming! Start experimenting and figure out what works for you, you'll be lucid dreaming in no time! :D
