Hi, I'm Castles c:
Hi! I've decided to go into full action in preparing for lucid dreaming/OBE's and this seems like the best place to start :). I might as well introduce myself if I will be spending my time here, right? Well then. My real name is Brandon, I'm currently 17 and I'm currently residing in the United States. I'm currently going to regular high school, as well as a school for graphic design to further my career. As for my lucid dreaming history, the first lucid dream I've ever had was probably when I was 15. I can't say it was a good one, either :cheeky:! It ended in a bad case of sleep paralysis. Anyways. I hope to get along with the forum members, I think I will enjoy my stay and I can't wait to get to know the community ^^,
~Castles.

Hi Brandon, :welcome: to Dreamviews! I'm 17 as well, and I'm also going to a graphic design school (visual effects, to be specific) once I graduate from high school.
Not all lucid dreams end in sleep paralysis; from my own experiences, I've only woken up into SP before, and that was before I even knew what a lucid dream or SP was. So it's all good.
If you haven't yet, I suggest starting up a dream journal, which is one of the most important things for lucid dreaming. You should be able to remember at least 1 dream a night before trying any induction methods; after all, if you don't remember your regular dreams, you won't remember your lucid ones. I can vouch for that, as I've had recall dryspells in the past where I'd wake up and not remember anything. To make matters even more frustrating, a few times I'd know I had a lucid dream, but I could only remember brief fragments (although I knew the dream was much longer, I just couldn't bring myself to recall it).
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for the welcoming, good luck on the graphic design! I hope it goes well for you. I have been meaning to set up a dream journal actually, and this seems like a good time to start. First entry, check :cheeky:. Although I am pretty good with remembering 1-2 dreams a night. I did go through 'dry spells' for about a month and couldn't remember anything. Luckily that is over.

Thanks :D It's been an alias for years. Kind of stuck with me, even in WoW. I'm a big fan of owls, btw. Favorite animal ^^, And I'll keep you in mind if I have any questions. Thank you!

:welcome: If you stick around here, I'm sure that you can get back into a lucid dream, and this one will be better.

'Sup Castles, I hope to see your smiling face around here more often ;)
Puffinator has said all that's needed to be said. She's good at that. And other things. Many other things..

Hey Castles!
Welcome to Dream Views. I'm 16 and live in the U.S too, more specifically California, so close enough.
I've never had a lucid dream that I remembered before coming to Dream Views, but now I've had more than I can remember (including my first ever WILD that I achieved last night).
PM me if you have any questions and I'd be glad to help, as Puffin and Mancon have said as well.
