I mean is it really necessary?

because it`s scary, I had one last night and lasted for a few minutes:eek:

I use some program from LaBerge, mp3`s regarding lucid dreaming. There`s an induction on it.

I listen to that and 1 hour of brainwave stimulating stuff for lucid dreaming.

Somehow makes me wake up 3 or 4 hours after the deep sleep phase for a few minutes, without using an alarm clock, then I go back to sleep and start dreaming :sleepmeditate2:

consider it a naturally induced version of WILD :panic:

I achieved dreams that are so-and-so, if you compare that to the visions Dali used to paint out, so 6/10 which can be considered good, because I never remember my dreams, I mean in 90% of the cases prior to discovering this.

when I wake up I`m not tired, I usually have a 6-7 hours or rest

Your body usually shuts down whenever you're in really deep stages of sleep. Sleep paralysis is a benign condition and happens to all of us (at least once!) I wouldn't worry about it unless it lasts longer than usual. Sleep paralysis is actually terrifying to me - the last time I had it I heard extremely loud whispering. Although they were loud I couldn't figure out what the heck they were saying :(.

What do you mean? Is it necessary to get through sleep paralysis in order to lucid dream? No, it's not, you can concentrate on other techniques if you find it unpleasant :)

At least that's what I did - I was trying to WILD and had few freaky SP experiences, when I stopped trying to WILD and started practicing other techniques, I had, I believe 3 accidental WILDs (only one of them was really successful, in other 2 I woke up because of the excitement that I did it) and each SP in these was really pleasant - hallucinations were amoung the most amasing things I've seen. So...

Also, as a lot of people say - you may not even feel SP sometimes and it can pass pretty much unnoticed.

I've never successfully done a WILD though i have done dozens of DEILDs which are similar. I find that going from completely awake to asleep i feel a more "severe" case of sleep paralysis than when I'm doing a DEILD. When doing a WILD i am more awake than when i'm doing a DEILD so i don't notice it as much, but if i am 100% aware during sleep paralysis i will freak out. As far as DEILDs go i have done them without going through sleep paralysis so i would imagine the same could be done for regular WILDs, just not as frequently.

I would suggest that you try and get your first LD without the help of any lucd "aids" so you don't become dependant on them. Also, I'm not sure if you have had a LD before but for most people it seems DILDs are easier and more common for a first LD than WILDs, but some people have more succes with it than others. Whatever works best for you, i guess.

Your body turns off. You know that feeling of seasickness? You don't have to have ever gotten sea-sick to understand that because your sense of balance becomes disconnected from your vision going up and down, your body starts to get wobbly. Even if you don't get sick, you still feel wobbly when you step on land. Well SP is when ALL of your senses get disconnected. That can feel like a super exaggerated seasickness-like-motion. But normally it happens so quickly, you don't even notice.

vomiting kind of feelings, dizziness, strange pressures here and there

you have a nightmare, you wake up, you are disconnected, you get a panic, next day you draw a painting

I don't think sleep paralysis is something that should be viewed as 'scary' at all. As stated earlier it's a completely natural process, and the hallucinations you see are mostly constructs of your subconcious mind whirring around you, and as such (just like a dream) you can change and manipulate what you see and hear when you get the hallucinations.
