Almost there!!

Geez, so close and alas so far!!
In my first dream last night, i got so damn close to lucidity! the only reason that i didn't got there was....well....it's kinda complicated, so i'll better brief you in: after a bunch of really weird (but possible) events, i was in a room and then i remembered to do the usual RC, but i couldn't find anything to read and double check, or a mirror or something, the only thing i found was a big old clock (not a digital one though) and when i was reaching it.....PAF! my radio alarm just started to sound!! it can be!!
i'll be posting that and other of my dreams in my journal, coming soon my friends....

But now that you know it's possible.. lucidity is right around the corner! :)

p.s.. Try the "nose pinch" reality check (pinch your nose shut and, if you can still breath, you're dreaming). I like this reality check cuz you always have your nose with you and it's never failed me! :mrgreen:

The nose pinch is very good, also I just read about another technique involving one of your own appendages that you might find useful.

Hey there...yeah next time instead of trying to search around your dreamscape for something to do a reality check on, use your own hand. But not in the way that Rakka said. Try to stick your finger through your palm. It's easy...and really weird. I've found that even when I do this when I am already lucid it increases the lucidity ALOT. It's a shame you never made it lucid, but you were soooo close. Frustrating I KNOW! You'll get it next time!! :D

ps - Also, as a second reality check, I suggest doing the nose pinch...or simply just try to float. But don't waste your time looking for a book or a clock. ;)
