Need advice at lucid dreaming.

Hello Dreamviews! This is my first post here!
Okay i will get to it, last night i was on my PC browsing the internet and i found out about Lucid Dreaming and wanted to try it out because it sounded AWESOME.
Then i got in my bed, closed my eyes and started to get an itch and wanted to move my feets very bad! But as i read i should just ignore it, and i did.
And then i got weird feelings i can describe as it felt like my body was pushed out of an tube without pain, and felt like my bed were upside down and alot other crazy stuff then it felt like i got sucked into a wormhole or something and i could not move my body or hands, i had my hands touching each other and it felt like my hands were one big jello.

And then a new feeling of getting sucked into something came and it felt like i got into a dream but i dont know what happend then, it got just black i think i was almost in a dream but then got kicked back to reality again, This happpend twice!
And then i gave up and woke my body up and slept normally.

Can someone help to enter the lucid dreaming state? Thanks!
And sorry for grammar fails i am only 15 and from Denmark.
Any tips would be appreciated, thanks again. :)

Hey Dreamo, welcome to Dreamviews!

From what you have described it sounds like you were attempting a WILD, and you did this before falling asleep. Doing a WBTB before a WILD is HIGHLY recommended, and improves the chances your WILD attempt will succeed greatly. Wake up about 5-7 hours after falling asleep, and then attempt to WILD. Doing a WILD before bed is possible, but is very hard and takes a lot longer.

I recommend you go and read my WILD guide, and also check out KingYoshi's method.

Thanks alot Mancon for the warm welcome, and i were not aware of that. So should i set a alarm clock to middle of the night? And i am going to read your guide ASAP! :)

Okay, I will set my iPod to play a calm song at the middle of the night, and i were not aware that i was allowed to turn to the side, i will try that, i thought when my body were sleeping i should not move it. And i also did not know that i should just let my thoughts pass i was thinking too hard, and maybe getting too hype when getting to a dream. Thanks Mancon, Great Dream Guide.

Thanks a lot! :) The turning over after every 10 minutes really helps for people who have a strong urge to move while WILDing. As Yoshi says, people become overcome with doubt when laying still for a long period of time with no results. When you turn over it's kind of like a "fresh start" and you get over that doubt.

You went through a very common occurrence called sleep paralysis.

Like mancon said you should do a WBTB (wake back to bed) before you attempt WILD. (which is what you were trying to do).

The reason is that as you sleep your REM periods get closer together. And being in REM would greatly help your chances at getting into a dream. People suggest going to bed and setting and alarm for 3-4.5 hours after you fall asleep.

I were so close
to LD'ing (i think) it felt so, so tonight i will try the one where i wake up in the middle of night.
If still doesnt work i will WBTB.

I think i had a lucid dream last night.
It felt like i were falling into a dream and my eyes opened somehow and it were my room! It looked exactly like it, and the computers standby lights were blinking like when i were awake, i was like "noo i failed" and closed my eyes and felt to sleep.
Could i have been lucid?

To be lucid you just have to recognize that you're dreaming. You don't even have to be in control of the dream. So if you didn't have the "I'm dreaming" realization, then you weren't lucid, but you may have been in a "regular" dream.

It's possible that you had just woken up, or you may have had a False Awakening (FA) which is common with WILD attempts and you dream that you woke up and failed the WILD. When you get into one of these scenarios you need to make sure and do a Reality Check (RC): Reality Check Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views because it's just as possible that you're dreaming as it is that you woke up.

EDIT: I just remembered a FA I had last night while writing this, thanks lol, unfortunately i didnt RC :(
