I'm sorry to burst your bubble but. Thats not wild... W.I.L.D. = Wake Induced Lucid Dream...You didn't even dream to begin with... You're not supposed to wake up in the middle of it. So how long did you take to try to have it? That sounds very brief... It doesn't happen just by snapping your fingers you know... You're (shortly, basically) just supposed to wait until you start dreaming...You don't wake up and notice "ooh this is a dream." that's a false awakening..
The reason why you didn't feel anything is because your body goes numb every time you go to sleep...In this case you we're just concious while it happened...After that point there are many stages, Hypnagogic Imagery, Hypnagogic Sounds, "Weird" sensations and whatnot.
Good luck trying it though, just don't get up just cause you don't hear anything. It doesnt come just like that...Try to like, "go into" the darkness you see in front of you. It also helps if you don't have that much of a lighting, more of a darkened room so your eyes would ignore the light and you can more easily concentrate on the relaxation and going deeper and deeper into the darkness...

I don't think he claimed that he succeeded to have an LD through WILD (no periods between letters, by the way ). He just said that he had success with WILD, and that success meant getting to the vibrations and numb state. In my opinion that's already pretty well. It's already very close to dream.
Don't think about those damn kangaroos.

Yeah I agree with Harri...er I mean Hate.

It's great that you got to the vibrational state, your body was in sleep paralysis. Did you see any hypnogogic imagery? I think if you would have stayed there longer you eventually would have made it into a lucid dream. A WILD can be tricky to get the hang of, don't expect to get it right the first few times you try it.

      But good luck!!

It can happen even without intending it though...And when it does that it CAN be VERY scary... Once I just woke up, I thought ah I'll just try it now that I woke up. Then I gave up and wanted to go to sleep and changed to a more comfortable position, then *bam*, hypnagogic imagery, I would've propably gotten far more further than that. But I thought it was a dream and tried to get involved, apparently too involved...
Just keep in mind, apparently you don't go straight into a dream, when you go like that, keep in mind that it's more likely to be hypnagogic imagery, just "watch" it, as a by stander, don't try to move or something like that. It will come.

      Good luck.

      no periods between letters[/b]
I just thought, cause it's an abbreviation...

I don't think he claimed that he succeeded to have an LD through WILD[/b]
He said in another thread that he had a WILD...(again, =Wake-Initiated Lucid Dream)
Again I'm not trying to but [behnat] down, just correcting, so there won't be any misunderstaning.

      Meditation

I just do a simple meditation like relaxing every muscle in ur body starting from the toes up ur legas up your torso and down ur arms then feel your whole body being relaxed. Then start to visualise that ur in a place of nature. e.g. a forest or beside a lake. Imagine the sound of the water and wind and stuff like that. I just fall asleep eventually! but if it doesnt help you sleep its a great way to relax.
