Thought I would say hi, though I started by throwing questions at everyone in another thread. I'm looking to squelch into this fantastic community of people who don't get tired of me saying "you wouldn't believe what I dreamed last night", and someone I can make sense of this crazy thing that happens when we sleep with.

You are certainly right about our community! Stay determined, if you aren't confident, you aren't LDing, sometimes it takes a while, but remember, stay confident, this advice is from personal experience. You can also check out the lounge and our IRC chat two fun places to be.

I'm also a newbie here (started to get into the Lucid dreaming topic for about 3 days) and by now I only could be nearly to a LD in a few times (counting the other times that I realized I was dreaming when I still didn't know about the concept of Lucid Dreaming.)
Don't forget to start a Dream Journal, do Reality Checks (such as turning on and off the lights, touching your hand to see if you can feel it), search more and more and be confident!
