Question about wild

Ok so i have never had a lucid dream before but have had a dream journal for the past week and have been doing regular reality checks. what if you can not find any dream signs? i dont seem to have any and my dreams do not include any supernatural elements. Anyway my main question is i watched this video about inducing wilds and remaining still so you can go into sleep paralysis and i thought why not i will give it a shot the worst being i fall into a non lucid dream and even then i could have a dild. I was not really scared at all about trying this but after reading comments on the youtube video everyone who experienced sleep paralysis said dont do it and that it was the most terifying experience they have ever had. So should i still try it? im scared now i know it cant hurt me but that does not mean it wont be scary.

It depends on the mindset you go in with. If you are completely terrified beforehand, then when you do actually experience SP, you will obviously be scared, and this fear during SP is one of the things that fuels the hallucinations people see. On the other hand peole that are not scared of sleep paralysis make hallucinate and see good things. If you do experience sleep paralysis and you open your eyes and hallucinate, i would just close my eyes and remember that nothing I see,hear or feel can hurt me and most likely if you remain awake mentally, you will fall into a lucid dream. Personally, most of my lucid dreams were by the WILD method but I have not ever truely experienced sleep paralysis except once.

I've heard that sleep paralysis can feel really scary and weird, but you're right, it doesn't hurt you. Try to forget the fear and remind yourself that SP is what you were aiming for, and it means you're really close to a lucid dream.

Sleep paralysis is just unfamiliar territory when you first try it. Most terrifying experience? No way by far. If you freak out, concentrate on something simple for example your breathing until that feeling passes and then continue on with your WILD.

But even when its scary, i remember hearing like demonic laughter... Which freaked me out for all of 2 seconds cause it came from nowhere... After a couple of seconds, I analysed the sound and found it quite funny. Honestly... Always just think of it as "its amazing what the brain can recreate" and you'll be fine.

Actual Sleep Paralysis is terrifying by its very nature.

However, the 'SP' you get from WILD attempts is pretty tame, since it's not really SP at all, just a bunch of HH.

You most likely won't experience the former during WILDs, so there really isn't anything to be afraid of.

I just keep my eyes closed when I enter sleep paralysis, and I have never had any visual hallucinations.
I heard a few weird noises like a fly buzzing by my ear, but that is it.

The scariest part of it for me is the shocking feeling when SP first hits.
But I've gotten kind of used to it, and don't mind it since I know the falling into my bed spacing feeling is going to follow next, followed by an LD!
