      Worried abou WILD

Hi guys, I have little experience in actual lds having had only one of them myself. So many people say how much more vivid a wild is than other forms of lds. Well my worry is that wilds sound quite scary. The noises and images you see and hear and sleep paralysis all sound pretty creepy. Is this something that I should be worried about or am I just missing out on a great experience for nothing?

Yeah it can get pretty creepy, but remember it's just hallucinations, and if anything tries to creep you out in the dream, kill it.

If you expect it to be creepy, it'll be creepy. If you expect rainbows fairies and hot ladies. Thats what you'll get.... Get mah drift?

Simply because you can breathe, doesn't mean your alive, or that you really live....

It will feel weird and because you don't normally experience stuff like that (unless you're used to being on hallucinogenic drugs) you will probably be a bit scared. Just relax! It's all in your head, even if you should have problems breathing. You're breathing fine and there's nothing that can hurt you.

Psychedelics and WILDing feel completely different. Even if someone is an experienced Psychonaut they can still get scared by SP hallucinations. Being absolutely certain someone is walking around your house or leaning over your bed isn't something you can prepare for.

@OP It's only scary the first few times. Lots of people report feeling as if there is another entity in their room. Whether it's another person, a demon, an alien etc. The first time you experience this you are almost guaranteed to force yourself awake to see if there really is somebody in the room with you. However, as you gain experience the creepy feelings should go away completely; you will feel the intense body buzz of SP and then pass right onto the dream.

You shouldn't disregard something simply because it's scary. Embrace the fear!

you really should its amazing i don't really have to use the wild but i do sometimes anyway but like everyone says it can get creepy and if you expect it then its NOT usally as bad thats why nightmares are so bad cause you DON'T expect them if you did then i wouldn't be as scary. so if you can expect things then they won't be as bad you like i said you should try it its an amazing expiriance.

      Don't worry about it.
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

Ya, im not a pro on LD's all together but ive gone through multiple WILd cycles. My first time i was on my bed trying to get to sleep [which is my only real challenge when it comes to getting into dreams] and my air condition vent is by my bed and kinda blasts my face. I guess i kind of lost focus but when i realized "oh ya lucid dreaming" i found that i was in sleep paralysis and the cold air from the vent was still feeling the same as being awake. So i was waiting for it all to start going down but the first things that started happening were the sounds. Now im big on horror movies and so the sounds that i heard, being that i was in my dark room, were creepy whispers. I kind of started freaking out and being scared i naturally started scaring myself more by thinking "hey there might be demons in the dark". I knew that eventually visual hallucinations were going to start and so i just got too scared to keep with the process. I kept trying to sit up until i eventually was able to break through that potent sleep paralysis. After your first or second one youll be more determined and be able to get through the scary part.
The horror experience alone was worth it for me since i love getting scared. Just make sure you have the determination to keep at it and youll have a great time.

Nito is right, expectation has a lot to do with it, before I had my first WILD, I read a lot of stories and SP experiences/explanations and I learned that hallucinations are normal during SP because SP is on the verge of a dream and you are very very scared since you can't move. So I convinced myself that when SP hit me, I wouldn't see hear or feel anything creepy and if I did, it wasn't real. Then when I first got SP and a WILD, all I felt/heard, weere the vibrations and the voice of my brother and cousin saying something random I don't remember. So don't freak yourself out too much by reading all the scary stories, most people experience that because they don't know what to expect in SP, you however have the knowledge and knowledge is power LOL,
