Did i lucid dream last night?

So.. i think i had my first lucid dream last night..So here is what happend.

I have been trying to lucid dream for months now without doing it.
But this was special, So i went to sleep.. This night i forgot about it and did not really try.

I woke up by my mom but i had really bad headache and my nose were running so i decided not to take to school.. I was soo tired so i went back to bed and fell asleep really quick i was at my school i remember i was infront of my class room, then i somehow remember that i am dreaming. I have never done it before so it was really weird.

But then alot of stuff happend and i woke up but my dad waking up (He doesnt have a job) and then i closed my eyes and fell alseep again, but this time i dreamed i was at my own place, in my own room, so i walked down the hall in our house and was like "Am i really lucid dreaming?" so i remembered to do a RC (the one the breathing while holding nose) and i could breath, so i was so sure that i was LD'ing that i smashed a window with my hand. I went outside and tried to fly, that was the first thing i wanted to do.. not sure why tho. But then i levitated, it was like the gravity changed, not flying. And then wanted to fly to somewhere and then my dad woke me up, because of something.

I got myself some food and wrote it all in my Dream Journal/Diary.
If i were LD i can finally tell my friends that i did it.. Instead of saying i was semi-lucid dreaming.. lol :P

Congratulations! Those sound like a great couple dreams. Hopefully they are the first of many.

Awesome :) I want to be able to do that! Maybe I can take a sickie off school and use LDing as an excuse :P

If you were aware that you were dreaming, then that's a lucid dream! Awesome, isn't it? Take a look at the dream stabilization and clarity tutorial in the tutorial section of the forum for advice on what to do once you enter a lucid dream to help you get the most out of the experience. Congrats on your first lucid dream! You can try the technique of just sleeping in and continuing to go back to sleep on your days off, it can work pretty well...that's how I started having them naturally. The more sleep you get, the better your chances of LDing. :)

I'm so happy that i have finally done it! I was kind of sad that i have tried for so long without luck.. now i try every night.. next challenge.. WILD.

Yep, definitely a lucid dream. Don't worry too much about not having perfect dream control--dream control is another skill altogether. It sounds like you are off to a great start, though. There are many techniques for flying. Personally I push an invisible force down through my after after jumping in the air (think Ironman), and that works for me. :)

Yeah! :) Congratulations! Remember that being lucid doesn't always equal control, it just simply means you're aware you're dreaming while inside a dream. Keep it up!
