New ..iin the forum
Hey guys , i'm a 20 years old boy from spain , first of all i have 2 say my english is not perfect, so i'll write as good as i can and i hope everyone understands me . I have had many experiences with lucid dreaming when i was a child , when i was , more or less, 6 or 7 years, i had too many bad dreams and i developed a ''skill'' to transform those bad dreams into lucid dreams . As I remember, i had too many lucid dreams on this age but within the course of time i lost this capacity until approximately 2 years ago ,when i had an spontaneously lucid, i remembered those experiences I had when i was a child and i refresh my interest in all this topic. My interest arises because i find 2 much remarkable how our brain , which is so ''poor'' or it works in a ''poor'' way (for saying in some way) in our ordinary daily life , can create a world which is (or seems) even more real than this one . I also see the infinite amount of posibilities that this lucid dream world opens . I used to be in an spanish forum about Lucid Dreaming but it seemed more a cemetery than a forum (one post every 4 o 5 days in all the whole forum) , so I decided to search an english forum about this and here I'm . I hope to learn much more here and 2 share and be shared experiences and tips about lucid dreaming . See u ppl ;)

Welcome to DV! The greatest place on the internets when it comes to Lucid Dreaming :) Make yourself at home, read up on the different tutorials we have and meet with helpful and friendly people. I also had alot of lucid dreams when I was younger. I also learned to lucid dream because of nightmares, which is a great reason for wanting to lucid dream in the first place.
Have any questions to ask? Ask away. Keep on dreaming!

As Matte says, feel free to ask. The dream guides are awesome, but the forum is also a brilliant place to ask. :)
Have nice dreams!

:welcome: What is your method for becoming lucid?
-
thanks for the welcome guys , Robot , in fact i don't have any metod ; I used to have spontaneously lucid dreams with the DILD method but I didn't like it at all , u know making the reality tests , a dream diary , etc... and because It was only probable (at least for me ) at the last REM cycle , so I feel it like i was wasting all the rest of the night . The WILD method sounds so much ''attractive'' cause u don't depend on other factors and u can induce the dream from the awaken state, but I find WILD hard cause : 1. I relax too much , I forgot what I was trying to do ( WILD) and I step to a normal dream , or 2. I'm too much aware that I find so hard to sleep and , when I arrive to the vibrations and the hipnagogic state is like saying to me '' Ok , i'm arriving at the point , now be alert'' and that brings me back to the awaken state.
U seem so experienced for the time in the forum and the posts u have, u could recommend me something? ;)
