I can't seem to remove it even with dream control! Help?
Once you get lucid, try and just focus on something.
This is probably because it's happened once and the next time you get lucid you kind of expect it to happen. Seeing as dream control is all about confidence and expectancy.. Anyway, yeah, try and focus on looking at something, see if your vision comes back ;)
How do you know it is blinded? Is your vision messed up? You don't really have eyes in a dream, so it is a strange thing to notice.
Don't think it's blinded, also try making yourself a new eye and putting it in!
That's interesting...maybe it's psychological since, as Robot_Butler pointed out, you don't have eyes in a dream.
Happens to me a lot. The worst is when you feel like theres sun glaring in your eyes and it hurts to have them open. No idea why this happens in dreams.
EDIT: I usually get blinded in both eyes. If its only one eye, who cares? Just close your right eye and use your left one.
I often cannot open my eyes in lucid dreams. However I don't think it is a consequence of lucidity. I just think that when I cannot open my eyes, I usually realise that I am dreaming.
It had happened to me many times in non-lucid dreams before I heard about lucid dreaming.
Do you sleep on your side? Maybe your face is in the pillow, and the sensation is transmitting over into your dream?
