You type like a bot, jokes asides, welcome to DV! :) Try setting up a goal and see how much dream control you can manage to do. Everything's possible, so just believe in yourself and get to it. Good luck!
Start writing down your dreams and track how much you dream.
From then on practice some reality checks throughout the day and you should have a DILD in no time,
Welcome to the Forum.
Do you keep a dream journal? I strongly advise you do to increase recall.
What techniques do you use, if you are new I recommend attempting a DILD/MILD.

Welcome to DV, my friend!
Arch just gave you a great list of amazing guides, check them out!
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! :)
Good luck and happy dreams!
Hi and welcome to DV, I think Arch has just about said it all, so do all that and see how you get on, also remember when you do a reality check in the day and you ask yourself "am i dreaming" dont say NO as this will follow on in your dreams and when you are dreaming and you do a check you will automatically tell yourself NO and fail a LD ;)
A tips to dream control: Its all in your head, so youre the one and only to control it! ;)
Welcome to DV, BTW :)

Don't try too hard.
Trying to force LDs is a perfect way to prevent yourself from having any.
Stay motivated.
This is a tough one, especially when you hit dryspells and stop seeing results. Remember that these things happen to everyone and you shouldn't get discouraged. Motivation is a key factor in your success.
Don't bite off more than you can chew.
Choose one technique to start, MILD for instance. Try it for a month or so and if it's not working, move on to another technique. Once you gain more experience, go back to the previous techniques that didn't work and try them again, you might get better results than before!
Stay persistent and consistent with practice and you'll go far :) Good luck, sir!

2 fails? No such thing. Not even a night without dreams is a fail. It may sound just like a confidence boost, but every time you just fall asleep knowing about lucid dreaming is a step forward. Of course it's a tiny step, but people do have lucid dreams just from knowing about them. So you do move forward with just the knowledge.
