Found this site via the Lucid Dreaming psiber conference. I'm retired, but have worked as a palliative care nurse & hospital chaplain. (Not at the same time.) I enjoy different types of music & reading & simply being. I also meditate a bit. I was the kid who was regularly told, "Stop day dreaming!" Well, sometimes it pay to not listen! I've had lucid dreams during both the sleep & waking state. It's a gift to find this site. Does anyone know how I can get an avatar? Thanks.

Welcome to Dream Views! I could only imagine how dull my existence would have been, if I were to ever stop daydreaming. It sometimes blows my mind how much the materialists don't know what they are missing, when they dismiss the playground of the mind as something of no importance. Lol. Little do they know...
But anyway, enjoy your stay! If you go to your Control Panel (top of the screen), there will be a panel on the side that should tell you where to upload your avatar. If you need any help in doing so, feel free to shoot me a pm. You seem pretty oriented to lucid dreaming, so I won't bore you with the usual "just getting started?" stuff. Lol. Make yourself at home!

If you want to change your avatar click "Control Panel" at the top of the page. Under "My Settings" to the left click "Edit Avatar". Anyway, I hope to see you around the forums more! How long have you been lucid dreaming?
