Hi! Greeting from Malaysian Noob Lucid Dreamer ;)
hi everybody. i just did a quick registration here, without getting too much time acquainted in this place, so i dont know if i go to the right place. i saw some active threads, so i guess there's somebody here. "the urge to register".... let me tell my story.
some years back i got a book from internet about hypnosis or mind control book, something like that, that teaches how to expand the aura etc all those cryptic stuffs, synchronizing with earth frequency etc. as a skeptic who want to learn extraordinary things, i read and tried to practice it, the first i achieved while lying and thinking of somebody (its in the day, so i was sure she still awake, and she was indeed right next to me when that happened :D) so i got into sleep state, but my "dream" was in that very same room with her inside, at the time, so i did what i did, tried to do nice thing so she'll got comfortable with me, and later suddenly a policeman came into the room, i got shocked and woke up! so that was my first lucid dream. at the time i didnt knew it was a so called lucid dream, but i knew it was different, i can control my dream, i can go where i want to. not the usual dream that i had before.
so i thought, hey! this is something! i thought i've achieved the first step in my aura expansion skill, so i continued to practice. i remembered seeing my both hands and feet, moved it and "really" felt its moving like in real (not dream) life, listened to sounds, feel the wind and while i knew i was dreaming. i can fly when i want, but the problem is i cannot control how high or how low, and i have problem with landing as well, i will still floating even if i wish to land, so captain america style of flying :D until now. the other time before i woke up, i can see the room where i slept, look around and walk around (even that actually i was still closing my eyes lying on the bed sleeping). one problem other than uncontrolled flying altitude, is i cannot control how long i'm in lucid dream, sometime i just woke up disgracely, or i felt my whole body is jerking like i'm pressed by something else, i can let it happened for sometime but the feeling cannot go away, it got more tense and tenser, so what i usually did, that i will force to wave my hand (my real hand!) and i will woke up.
and recently, about a year ago, when i want to enter the lucid dream, the jerking feeling will immediately happened. it happened everytime that i thought something is prohibiting me from entering lucid dream anymore, a guardian or satan maybe, so i quit about a year without lucid dream anymore. until recently i saw a movie titled "conception" about lucid and shared dreamers (shared dream is something i have not achieved). so i got excited, its the same thing i experienced before, controlled dream, a "next level" of dream. so i googled "shared dreaming" and to my surprise, there are alot links about it, thats the time i knew that what i've been experiencing all this while is called "lucid dream", not the crappy aura expansion and mind control technique :P. so i tried lucid4all forum but i cannot get in, my PC keep complaining "data execution prevention" and crashed. so i quit, it was few weeks ago.
and to the last question... how do i get here? today, with the urge to register? because i re-googled "lucid dream", and found this site, and succesfully register! the quick and express method, because i got excited! why? because last night, yes last night before the night i'm typing this, i "accidentally" re-enter lucid dream! wahhh! i got excited! its not entirely lucid, only at some point, there's some event occuring, i cannot precisely point out what, that made me aware i'm in a dream, i thought its because looking at my body part (hand).
so last night i took my time, laying on a plain grass field with flowers, i took my time to look carefully at the flowers petal, the details of it and the leave and grass around it. because i thought its been a while that i cannot control my dream. until i got into situation where i'm in a village with some conflict i guess, not sure what, but the people seems want to move on to the big city. so i flew away try to find that city, i flew over the ocean with deadly creatures, giant octopus and dinasour in it, so i have to take care of my altitude until i crossed it to the big/modern city.
well, the experience last night, i can say i'm not fully lucid. the feeling is not as strong as lucid dream i had before, except that flower petal details that i knew that time i'm fully aware that i'm lucid, the other events is more like i'm following the flow, but hey, at least i can keep (control) my altitude high so not to get eaten by giant octopus! :D not sure when in the dream i lost my lucidity before i woke up.
so here i am, if somebody can actually understand me, or even care to read this long and boring text. but i thought, maybe i can share something. and hope somebody are willing to be my friend to share experience, to teach me into more detail of what this lucid dream is all about. how to do shared dreaming and control how much time i want in the dream, i want to have control on when i want to wake up, because i kinda go late to bed sleeper, i stayed up in the night doing my hobby stuffs. but i need to sleep, usually at 3-4am, tomorrow i work i usually woke up late :P. i also hope that i will find answers here of why i cannot control my flight altitude, whats the jerking experience i had before. my mom told me its because i have high heartbeat pressure. because i drink nescafe (caffein) every night to stay awake, and its become my favourite drink. the jerking usually happened when i slept past 2-3am, even when i have no dream, or lucid dream. so thats it. i hope i can make some friend here. cheers.
