Hey. I go by the moniker Cynical. I joined this site because I read a thread on 4chan about Lucid Dreaming, and they recommended this site if anyone wanted to learn more about LDing. I became curious about what LDing was, and read a lot of stuff on it at this site. I'm keeping a Dream Journal that I hope is interesting, because I was inspired by Robot Butler. If anyone's up for chatting, send me a message.

I'm glad to see you are keeping a dream journal, recall is definitely something you need when you lucid dream.
Surprised you came from 4Chan, haven't heard anyone come from there before, although there probably has.

Glad you found out about lucid dreaming, and decided to join this site! I have seen several member that have come from 4chan, but not a lot. Like Arch said, it is great you're keeping a dream journal! Dream recall is the first thing you need to focus on to starting to lucid dreaming. Once you can remember at least one dream a night, you can start practicing a technique in order to attain lucidity. Good luck! If you have any questions, shoot me a PM. :)

You should read up on the wiki or some of the lucid dreaming methods to start off, they are quite helpful and are made by some really knowledgeable members. Also say hi to some of us in the IRC sometime. :)
By the way references from 4chan? Uh oh... :panic: No I'm kidding, the site just has a poor reputation for complete internet anarchy. :P
