Meditation help
Hi guys, I would really appreciate some help from Lucid dreamers who use meditation. I have tried meditation before and it was really great and made me feel relaxed. I also had my first lucid the week that I did it. I'm just not sure on how i'm supposed to go around meditation. I tried doing a technique I read of a website where you make your body comfortable and picture yourself in a garden, but is this the right thing I should be doing. If not could you please advice me on a different way. Thanks.

There is no right or wrong way to meditate as long as the method you use unites yourself with the inner peace within you. The majority of methods involve you focusing on your breathing though.

You should check out this place: Meditation (ShockWave) :)

Yeah both Matte and Graves made some good points. Really just as long as you are relaxed and at peace you are meditating! Meditation is a great way to improve your chances of having lucid dreams. One of the best things you can do to help yourself out in my opinion.
The technique you read seems like a good idea. I find it easier for me to just focus on my breathing and just that until I feel that I am calm enough and have a clear head. Then I focus on lucid dreaming and do a few visualizations.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
