Hello fellow dreamers.

I wanted to introduce myself.

I go by Saroe, and I am an avid dreamer.

I have run the gamut on techniques to induce dreams/ learning to lucid dream/astral project etc.

Until very recently I hadn't been into trying to meditate to ready myself for dreaming. When I was talking to my brother about this I found out that I have been focusing on my pineal gland. I just thought I was focusing on the inner self. Since I learned that I have been subconsciously focusing on my pineal gland, I have become obsessed with the connection to the pineal gland and the metaphysical self.

This research lead me to this place, and I am excited to learn from fellow dreamers, and hopefully my skills will progress greatly from the collective knowledge of this site. Hopefully I may be able to give something back also.

I can't wait to delve into the depths of this site.

Welcome to DV. I'm sure you'll have a fun stay here. First of all, it's a good start if you increase your dream recall so I suggest you read the official dream recall tutorial. And have you ever got yourself a Dream Journal? It's very important in aiding you in your dream recall. Also, have you already chosen your preferred method to lucid dream? There are a lot of lucid dreaming techniques out there, but some of the most common techniques out there are MILD,DILD and WILD. Each having it's own distinct pros and cons. So don't forget to choose one. If you've got spare time, try visiting the forum's chat room to meet the DV folks(be warned though, they tend to go crazy and loco). If you've got question, feel free to reply back or message any of the dream guides(people expert in Lucid Dreaming) in this dream guide list. Good luck in the field of Lucid Dreaming :)

I am too, very interested in the pineal gland/metaphysical stuff and what not. i find it extremely interesting.

The pineal gland is situated a little above the pituitary gland. When this gland has been truly awakened, one may experience spiritual holy communion. It is by this gland that the mind of the soul meets the Holy Spirit. This gland, when stimulated daily through meditation, can bring seer-ship or prophecy.

The pituitary gland is the master gland of the body. It is situated between and behind the eyes in the brain, acting as the third eye of ancient mysticism. It is through the pituitary gland, the highest endocrine gland, that ultimate awakening comes. It is through the energy of the pituitary gland that one may enter the very presence of God through meditation and prayer.

Or at least, so it seems. On the other hand, I may be just a nutcase. Which is ok to me too.
