"Noobie" LDer

Hey dudes and chicks! :D
Spotlight here and I'm new to dreamviews. Kind of. I've been a member for a while now but not online a lot! Same difference. So yeah, this is just an introductory thing. I've always thought there was something I was missing out on and when I discovered Lucid Dreaming (through the power of Google) I knew this was it. I've had four successful lucid dreams and tons of other fun dreams! I love dream translating so if anyone ever wants me to translate something just send me a message. It's fun for me. ;)
I'm trying out DILDs but it's so random. I have school so I need sleep and can't WILD. I'm gonna try out MILD but I'm not much of a hypnosis/meditation person. I'm just not in my element with it. :shock: Meh. Um...let's see... :banana: ... I love how everyone who knows about LD is kind of like in a secret society. :shadewink: Except it's not a secret and only kind of a society. :panic: I think I use too many smilies. Oh well! It's like we can all talk about LDing and understand all the lingo. And not everyone you know will come out and say "Hi! I lucid dream!" and so you have to figure it out. So it's kindof a not-so-secret not-really-a-society. :D *awkward cough* so yeah. I've researched this stuff a ton, some of my online virtual world friends come to me whenever they have something 'mystic' like LD or AP questions, althought I've never experienced AP I get a lot of the theory. There is lots to do on DV. I'd say we have a pretty strong community/society. If you really want to get into the community check out the chat. It gets kinda crazy at times but lots of cool people hang out there.

MILD is actually a really good technique. If you couple it with awareness and or WBTB you should have great results. If you need any help feel free to PM me or create a new thread.

"A secret society". Wow, I laughed so hard but it's so true (at least in my case)! I don't tell anyone not even my friends... only everybody who uses the internet knows.

I like this site already! I've been on a few Lucid Dreaming Forums, and usually for some reason my posts are ignored completly. You're all really nice and awesome! Glad I could entertain with the "secret society" thing.

In all seriousness, welcome. I know what you mean with the "secrecy" thing. I have a few friends that I talk to about it, but only because they've had experiences with Lucid Dreaming themselves.
