tried to WILD...
I tried to WILD last night, well actually i should say this morning at about 5:30... I had slep for about 5 1/2 hrs, woke up, wrote down my dreams, and then got on DV, looked at some posts, and the tutorial on how to WILD, as i have done many times before... (not trying to WILD).
so i got into bed around 5:30, got in a comfortable position, gently closed my eyes, so they weren't forced shut... i started to become tired, but I still stayed awake paying attention to the black of my eyelids, and shortly colors started to happen, followed by that i started to hear beeping and clicking, i dont know if that was my imagination or not??? then followed by that i started to feel really weird and my whole boddy became really tingly like your arm feels after it has fallen asleep... is that what the vibrations are supposed to feel like???
after that "vibration" i stayed concsious in my bed only paying attention to the black and the colors, focusing on having an LD and not letting my abstract thoughts get to me, but the second vibrations never came, soon after the colors stoped. I tried this for about an hour and 20 mins, with no luck, then just went to sleep and ended up having a vivid dream....
also i found it very hard to get back to sleep after trying to WILD.. is this normal?? and does it seem like im attempting to WILD correctly?? :|

It sounds to me like you are doing everything correctly, but are falling into a very common trap.
After you felt the tingling, I suspect that you did not let your concious mind relax enough for transition to fully begin. It can be quite tricky and like you, I've spent quite a bit of time laying there waiting for it to begin.
Next time, perhaps try no to wake up quite as much before returning to bed.

My bitggest problem is loss of concentration...I'd actually got to the point where i was back in the dream, where i'd left it, decided what i was going to do next, and then i woke up!
very annoying.
Doesn't stop me trying though, and i think that's half the battle, not to lose courage.

the most important thing to remember is to relax, also you have to be driven at the same time, know that you wont stop untill you go into a dream, also dont expect things to happen, for me I never feel vibrations or see HI its all about staying focused on watever you choose to focus on

ok ill def work on all the suggestions, and I wont give up.
i have one more question.. does your sleeping position matter at all (laying on your back, side, stomache)???
-
Sleeping position does not matter. If you sleep better hanging from the ceiling go ahead. Just whatever works. I find it is easier to wild if I am already half asleep and just woken up for a second. Then I only have about 5 seconds with this in between state, it happens really quick and I suddenly find myself floating in my room. This is when most of my wilds happen. Not when I am fully awake trying to concerntrate for hours and not getting to sleep again. For me, if I manage to get myself in that in between state at the right time it is alot easier.

I think for everyone it's quite different as far as position for instance I can only WILD while sleeping on my back. I never Did a WILD in any other position..But It may depend on the person Im sure some people can WILD in any position. But see what works for you. Good Luck
