Question about sleeping before WILD
Why is sleeping for 5-6 hours before attempting to WILD important? Is there any possible way of doing it without that much sleep beforehand? I'm asking because I share a room with my sister, and I can't set an alarm clock to wake me up in the middle of the night, because it'll wake her up too (maybe even everyone in my house). I've gotten myself to wake up during the night by telling myself to before I fall asleep, but nowadays I'm way too tired to get up that way. Should I just stop trying to WILD and try other methods?
I know WILDs are supposed to be the hard way of getting a LD, but I want to try it more than any other method. The idea of entering into a lucid dream from being awake, and all the vivid imagery and sounds is very interesting to me, and I really want to do it. I've had one LD that I remember, and it was a DILD. It wasn't as vivid as I would've liked, and I also think WILDs might get me better results.
So, there's no way to WILD without sleeping ahead of time, is there? Not even if you're really tired?
