      Lightbulb 2 LD questions

      1. Ive been reading a lot about lucid dreams but I find it hard to believe that people have a hard time recognizing them from true reality... Are reality checks even necessary?.. because I find it hard to believe that someone couldn't tell a dream from reality.. .. unless LDs are more intense than I can even imagine

      2. Ive had many dreams (not LDs) where I thought the person/character in the deam would become my dream guide, but I never dream with them in it again... do dream guides change or have I never even met mine yet?

      1. It is completely true that dreams can be almost impossible to distinguish from reality, and yes it is a scary thought. In any case reality checks themselves are also to train you to be aware of your surroundings, and therefore more likely to realize that you are dreaming. As well as to make sure you are actually dreaming.

      2. There are too many opinions to answer this question correctly. If you make a distinction, there are spirit guides and dream guides. I do not claim to have any legitimate knowledge about spirit guides, but dream guides are usually defined as a projection of your own subconscious and will. They are like any other DC in their mechanics.

What makes them special is that you expect them to have innate wisdom and spiritual prowess. It is your mind's way of putting all the things you know (but you may not realize you know) into a projection that you can then question and learn from.

      Hope this helps

It's really necessary for you to perform a reality check. Most of the time, a person has a hard time distinguishing reality from dreams. Because if it is that easy to distinguish the two, then all of us can have lucid dreams every single night. So make it a habit to do a reality check.

A dream guide is a dream character that helps you attain lucidity by giving you hints or stuff. So I think you still haven't met your dream guide. But I'm sure it's just around you, waiting to have contact with you.

      Hope this helps

Odds are you haven't met your dream guide, what do you mean you can't believe how people aren't aware when they are dreaming? O__o ? You yourself said you've not had many lucid dreams. Anyway those "dream guides" were probably just dream characters, not for sure though, just try to find a dream guide in a lucid dream
