I'm sure it will:)
OH it will!
It's not gonna happen just like that!! lol. i am a newbie and ive only had one lucid dream but its harder then that.. i got really lucky with my lucid dream.. but good luck :D
99% of success is knowing, that you will have an LD. Rest of it is RCs, daytime awareness, questioning reality, mantras, affirmations, doing some research on REM cycles, reading up on anything related to LDing and having an open mind. But non of this will help, if you don't KNOW, that you'll have an LD:)
I've been trying hard for over 6 months now... I failed once again but I tell my self everyday and every time I go to bed "This night for sure!".
What method are your trying, MILD/DILD, WILD? Describe, how are you preparing yourself for lucid dream - do you RC, daytime awareness, mantras,...? I see you have a DJ. That's great. Try to write everything in it.
Here's some more motivation: If you don't have a lucid dream tonight, I will come over to Sweden and throw a snowball at you.
if you doubt yourself and believe it's hard, then it will be, oh it will be. try, every so often, sort of looking around and noticing everything, really question if it is a dream. sometimes you get the sense that you are, or not. do a RC just to be sure. my favorate is plugging my nose and breathing, one of the few truely foolproof tests, as it is totally impossible in real life.
I've read about the different techniques and other things on this site. I am currently trying to have a DILD and I don't want to rush to another technique since I got a response earlier on another post that I shouldn't rush towards another technique before I really try it. I keep a dream journal and I do reality checks every day. I guess it's as Hwen wrote, I haven't had one since I doubt myself.
I'll try to stop doubting myself from now on!
Thanks for the motivation Enjyu ;)
Don't over work yourself, just stay relaxed but confident. I know it can be hard to stay confident, just don't over due it.
When you're intending to lucid dream you have to act like you've already achieved your goal. You already lucid dream every night. You have to imagine that what you want, is already yours.
