Geuss what.. Im new
ok, Hi everyboby. My names jamie and I first heard about lucid dreaming when watching a vid about lcd tripping and they mentioned lucid dreaming and how they could make themselves trip when they were lucid. But don't think I wanna do that I just want to explore the dream world as im just new to this. Anyways I've got a dream journal started as of 1st of December and have had a few lucid dreams but my problem seems to be not being able to stabilize my dream and I either lose lucidity or wake up. I've tried stabilizing by feeling the textures of things around me and I thought it was working but I still faded.
So far my LD's haven't been very long so I hope to improve with time.
Anyways thanks for reading, bye for now.

Welcome :)
Looks like you're far more ahead than me. I'm still lacking in proper dream recall :p
Anyways, I find the community here very friendly and helpful. I'm sure you'll find answers in the many guides and threads on this forum.
If not, there's always lots of experienced people around, that you can reach out to.

Welcome to Dreamviews!
Don't worry about it. If you've already had a few lucid dreams since the beginning of this month, you're doing mighty well! As mentioned above, with practice, your stablity of your dream will get better. The main thing about stabilization is to ground your five senses. Some dreams may already be stable enough, but if working your five senses still don't work for you, try some verbal commands e.g. "Clarify!" "Stabilize!"
One thing to keep in mind, if you expect that each time you get lucid that the dream is unstable, it will be so. Do not make it a placebo :P Good luck and hope to see you around!
