back to lucidity
Hey guys. I used to be involved in lucid dreaming quite a bit, having many sleeping paralysis induced lucid dreams along with others that I just realized weren't real. I actually attained lucidity a few nights ago, for the first time in about 2 years w/o trying, and it made me realize that I really miss my strange little lucid dreams. Anyhow, I figured I'd come here to gather some info and chat with you all a bit. Though I may mostly be a lurker. Peace out! :)

Welcome back to your dream world!
Any special reason you quit before? It might help others with staying motivated. I know I have a hard time when I don't see results for a few weeks.

You guys probably already doing it, but what keeps me motivated, is reading dream journals of others or of my LDs, books about LDing, posts on DV, other websites. There is always something new I find and that gets me excited. It was suggested by someone, that you find a hobby, and that excitement will transfer to excitement about LDing. I believe that being excited and happy is crucial to having LDs. Sometimes I try to recall a happy moment from past and then recreate that feeling when thinking about LDing.
Hope this helps.

I honestly don't know why exactly I quit. I think I just got tired of trying to wake up every night to jot down my dreams... and I really gotta find me a notebook so I can start doing that again. Thank you all for all of the support! I've been reading up in the tutorial forum on some of the induction methods, and pretty much realized I was trying to get a lucid dream the wrong way. :P
