Well ~ guess my title says it!
I'm really excited to be a member here.
I am particularly intrigued with any experiences that any member has had ~ or even has any info about ~
involving a belief that one has "gone somewhere", while asleep?
It's really different than waking up from a dream,( no matter how lucid the dream was )...
It's as though, when recalling the experience...one feels the same as if telling about a trip taken. I mean a real trip taken ~ not a psychedelic trip! Lol :-D
And, after that "trip" happened,(about a year ago now), the sleep paralysis phenomenon began to happen sporadically, to me. I'd never had those happen before! WOW! Very intense! I'm extremely intrigued about sleep paralysis now...

Welcome to DV - I'm sure you'll be glad you joined.

Although I have not had many lucids yet, and certainly no OBE/"travels" as you describe, a lot of people have.
There are a lot of posts on the subject, mainly in the beyond dreaming section that would probably be worth a read for you.

Checking out a few guides etc in the other sections might also be beneficial, depending on your proficiency with LD'ing.

Nowadays its becoming more apparent that i can do something about my state of conscience and unconscience (dont know if i spelled that correct lol) well since you're interested in others experiences...the most lucid dream i have ever had is the one that terrified me the most...looking back it was an eye opener of an experience, i was sleeping in my bed in my tiny room lol i always sleep in complete darkness any shred of light or disturbance disrupts sleeping for me well this is where its hard to explain i feel asleep and immediatly knew i was falling very deep into another conscience state the LD was very dull at first almost blank with detail as i moved forward it shifted as slightly just enough for a peak of what was to come im not sure what it was but it was just too much to take in, i dont know if you understand that feeling but it was like knowing a tornado was coming your way and your sitting in the cellar or bathroom just anticipating it to arrive knowing that your waiting for sure disaster it was gigantic the fear it was bringing, after that initial shock i thought i had awoken it was the strangest part of this whole experience i had stood up and was standing in the complete darkness feeling as if i could be anywhere, i think subconsciencely i had enjoyed the first few moments of it, standing there imagining i am somewhere else somewhere very different and far away...then a sudden hush of panic just hit me like someone grabbing you and pulling you to the side, it said run! leave, go now....i remember it inch by inch, i started thinking of the door, oh my god wheres the door, its a small room im thinking its not far dont panic, but it was still there stirring in me still thinking am i awake right now..i have to be, i ran to the door tripping over god knows what and then another hard hitting rush of panic as the door wasnt there it was a simple door just the ordinary i kept thinking your just too rattled to use common sence here the door knob is there just grab it and leave, i remember at the last moment before it ended i remember thinking do i really want to open it what if i am dreaming and theres something worse on the other side i rememberd looking for shreds of light coming through the door and there was none which was very odd, then at the last moment everything that was which real for me fainted and i was back sitting on the bed which is right next to the door and where i "was standing" not more than six inches, did i sit down or did i just awake from whatever this was, was i sitting there the entire time??..i cant even answer that as soon as i had a grip i got up and whipped that door open as fast as i could and ran out to the guys watching t.v. right in the next room...lol im sorry its so long but just thought since im a "newbie" lol id give you a good one, everything i said is as accurate as i could describe it i tried my best to include as much detail as i could accurately express ;)......staying alive lol -jckr88t
