Hey and Help?!
First of all hi everyone, im new. CallmeSkar
my problem is when i try to attain lucidty i feel a weight on my chest and then my body goes really numb but not paralysed? so it snot SP and then i dont know what to do. At that poinr im meant to be able to slip into a dream but i cant, i think this is because i find it hard to stop my eyes moving.
Any suggestion?

Most importantly, make sure you are doing this after 4 or 5 hours of sleep. You want to be entering a REM cycle right as you are falling asleep. There must be a dream for you to enter.
From your description, it sounds like you are still only in the beginning stages of relaxation. Push your relaxation further. You want to be so close to sleep, you are losing track of yourself and what you are doing. Every time you fail, it should be because you fell asleep. You should be so out of your mind, tired, and spaced out, you don't even have the ability to think about giving up

Like RB said, you have to have pre sleep, your body is more naturally relaxed, and you will be in the "state of mind" if you will.

Robot said it all. Make sure you are in REM before you try to SP.

thanks i'll try that. and when i say that i mean being more tired? if thats what you meant!

Pretty much try and wake up 4-5 hours after you go to bed (Rem times differ from person to person) and then try WILDing.

thanks it worked though i think its a bit of a fluke

Welcome to Dreamviews! Looks like everyone else answered your questions :)
Good luck with WILDing, hope you have more lucids to come! If you have any questions, just send a PM.
