Feeling disconnected in my lucid dreams.
Hey guys, this is my first post on this site and I was just wondering if you could help me out on a bit of a dilemna. I seem to be having trouble keeping a dream stable I've read all over this site about how to stabilize dreams but it feels as though im completely powerless. I've had about 6 lucid dreams and none have lasted longer than 15 seconds, it discourages me because 2 of those were WILD lucid dreams and the others were through reality checks through an already existing dream.
My latest lucid dream was today. I fell asleep and noticed I was in an unfamiliar place, I was being chased by an unknown enemy and was in the middle of a long road. I couldn't really see anything to be honest, I could make out the basic shapes of things (like when you wear someones glasses and they are blurry) also I couldn't feel anything either it was like the only available sense was sight. I flew up into the sky at a fast speed and looked down at my pursuers and i noticed the dream falling apart. I closed my eyes and tried commands like 'Stabilize dream', 'increase clarity', rubbing my hands, nothing seemed to work. I have never had a lucid dream in which I have felt as though it was real life, It's as if everytime I'm lucid I can only see the dream not feel it. I'm starting to feel discouraged because even if I calm myself and attempt to meditate and be one with the surroundings it doesn't work at all.
Even when I initiate a WILD it still lacks the feel and reality im looking for. The best way to put it is that I'm present in the dream I can perform very small actions but it feels like everythings muted and very numb in the sense that its like miming etc. Is there any tips you guys could give me because I have a big imagination and want to really try to experiment what I could do with dreams and find a method to lengthen them and such.
Thanks for taking the time out to read this and I look forward to your help :P
