Cant speak during LD, more stabilizing methods

Okay so i had a DLID last night:) I had a dream where i was in a bath and there was so much water on the floor and then i looked again and it was gone, i then realized i was dreaming and became lucid:cheeky:

The moment i become lucid it feels as if i have just been hit by an EMP, its a big moment for my brain to comprehend.
(My Ld isn't the same as the non LD). Everything is dark, no sunlight ever, evil atmosphere:(. Non-LD is normally very nice :)
When i try speak to say: "more clarity now" i cannot say clarity correctly like i have down syndrome(i slur it badly), could this be because my real life mouth is on my pillow. Rubbing my hands together helps a little.

When i became lucid everything was black i jumped up into the air and climbed through my ceiling but everything was updside down in my dream and i had to climb up:shock: . There was a mirror and i looked in it, then i finely got outside and saw my friends dogs and i asked my subconscious: "show me something funny" and the big dog barked at the little dog, wasn't really funny when it happened lol.

I always look in a mirror during a LD. My face looks terrible, i look very stoned(red eyes and droppy) and intoxicated and i feel like it a bit to, my teeth were also a little out of place. Mirrors scares me the most in a LD.

Sorry for long post, im a noob :cheeky:
So questions:
How can i speak normally?
How can i look normal?
How can i make it a friendly/safe atmosphere?
What are some stabilizing methods?

Don't worry about the length.

It could be possible that having your face in your pillow might be keeping you from talking properly, but I bet you can over come it.
There's absolutely nothing you can't do in a lucid dream, the only thing holding people back is their own doubts. So a nice mantra might go a long way for you. Try repeating "I can do anything I want in my dreams".

Or, if you're not a big mantra person, when you become lucid, take a moment and take a big-deep breath and clear your mind. Close your eyes (don't squeeze too tightly) and re-open them, that helps improve quality a bit for me. When you speak, do so with confidence, don't try to speak wondering if it will work, speak knowing it does work.

To make a friendly/safe atmosphere all you have to do is keep your own mind open and friendly, don't act cautious or scared (or worse, hostile). If a dream character is giving you problems, simply wish them away.
