Hello
I'm oneiro84 and I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been into lucid dreaming for a while. I'm into OBEs and astral projection too but only had one experience that was probably a lucid dream. I'm currently reading Exploring The World Of Lucid Dreaming and want to advance my knowledge of lucid dreaming and OBEs/astral projection. I'm also currently having some trouble with dream recall. I'd like to remember more dreams than I do now.

Welcome Oneiro84!

Hi and welcome to DV! If you want to improve your recall the only thing you have to do is to try to recall as many dreams and as much detail as possible when you wake up. Always write down them on a notepad or in your Dream Journal. Use keywords during the night to be able to recall the dream in the morning. If you have any questions, ask away! :)

Improving your dream recall just takes practice. I have the most success when I tell myself before bed that I will remember my dreams, and record them. Sometimes I write an affirmation in my dream journal before I go to bed. I will write the date, and a line about what I want to dream about. This helps me focus on my goal.

Thanks all for the welcomes and info! :-)

Welcome to DreamViews!
I find the more I think about my dreams and lucid dreaming the better my recall becomes. Every night before I sleep I will write in my journal my set of mantras/affirmations, and repeat them each a few times in my head before I sleep. I find this is a good way for me to MILD and it can easily be used to boost your recall! The more detail you write about the dreams that you do remember, the more and more you will continue to remember :)

Hello and welcome to dreamviews, I think most of the information about OBEs is found in the Beyond Dreaming section, check it out!
