Hello :)
I've been a member here for almost a year now and have never made an introductory post. How's that for lazy? :P
So, I just thought I should drop by and introduce myself. There's really not a whole lot that I can share about me though....So give me a sec.
Hmmm....
As far as ever attaining lucidity, I've only done so 3-4 times but they were short lived and had been spontaneous. I've attempted to induce lucidity several times, but I have not yet succeeded in doing so. I'll keep trying though. This website seems like it'll be really helpful, besides just being interesting. The subconscious mind fascinates me, and especially the dream world.
So anyway, I guess that's about it.

Hi and officially welcome! :) If you try hard for a few weeks I'm sure you'll get lucid a few times. Remember to always stabilize the dream calmly and make sure you focus on your senses as much as possible while not giving too much thought that you're actually asleep.

Welcome to DV lol. I never actually made an introductory post myself either and I've been on here for years! :P Stabilization like Matte mentioned is definitely key. Through enough practice it'll come. Don't try to rush it before you are properly stabilized or else you could lose the whole dream. I was like you, I had a VERY hard time learning to LD, but now I can do it at will anytime I please :)

Welcome back to DV ^___^ It'll take some practice, but you'll get the hang of it. If you've any questions, feel free to ask em

Alright! Welcome to DV Mammatus  (<< your 11-month overdue party hat :chuckle: )
So I have to ask, have you started a dream journal? A "DJ" was one of the key elements that helped me go from random, spontaneous lucid dream fragments, to more regular ones. If not for any other reason, you can review your entries over time and find regular dream signs that can help you attain lucidity. And you can make one and keep it here on DV: DV Dream Journals
So have fun man, and let any of us dream guides know if you want some help. PM anytime :)

It is never too late for a proper introduction. Never too late for a formal welcome. Welcome Mammatus :D

Hello and welcome,
I also struggle with motivation, currently I am on my way by working from the bottom up, so I advise you look at improving the foundations, like recall.
Just a suggestion! :D

Hi! Welcome to...oh wait.
I'm glad you decided to make your first post AFTER A YEAR of being here. You should post more on the forums. It is fun to talk to the community :p. Anyway it's good you have at least had a few Lucids. I know some people who have been trying for a year with no success. Just keep at it, and you should start to get more! Good luck :)
