Hey There!
Hi everyone. Here I'll just explain a little about myself and hope to meet a few of the members!
First of all I'm a college student in the US. I was introduced to the idea of lucidity by my psychology professor. It stuck out to me a lot so I decided to look into it. I found a website that was filled with information, but it wasn't as active with members as this one is. I found DV through that website and here I am.
I haven't had a successful LD yet, but I've only been trying for a few nights now. I have had better DR, though! Doing a DJ definitely helps. I will probably end up creating one here actually.
Anyways, it's nice to meet everyone! I can't wait to explore the world of my dreams and some of the things that my subconcious is trying to tell me! And better yet, share my beginning experiences with the people here! :okbyenow:

Welcome to DV ^_^ Glad you found your way here.
And don't worry, it just takes practice to get the first few LDs, but you'll get the hang of it.
Just be adamant, and confident. You'll get one soon enough!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask n__n

I bet I can guess the website. :D
Welcome to DV! Some amazingly helpful people here! Patience and persistence will pay off.

Thanks to the both of you for the hospitality and support! I think I'll go make a topic with some questions that I have and see if I can get some helpful answers unlike the last place! :cheeky:

I doubt you will have trouble here. People make the effort to answer questions and get people dreaming.

Hey there Huntstreet, welcome to the boards :)
Be sure to check out this guide made by Puffin: http://www.dreamviews.org/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/
You should decide on a technique you're going to stick by for the next few months. Keep in mind that results DO take time to show. For my last technique change, it took me one month to have my first lucid dream from that induction method because it was such a big change to my mindset and daily life.
Keep committed!

It's great you were told about LDing in school. Are any other students interested with you?

Thanks everyone for more welcomes! Actually my roommate was in the class when he introduced lucidity to us as well. He knows about it and looked it up, but he's not really as into it I don't think.
