Another new person
Just wanted to say hello. I came to lucid dreaming after becoming fascinated by the subject in the film "Vanilla Sky." I worked on dream recall for about a week after that before being engulfed in the life awake again. During this time I achieved lucidity twice. The first time I was so excited that I awoke right away. The second time I just looked around in a room before losing lucidity. It was enough to take my attention, but my sleep was screwed by schoolwork shortly afterward.
This summer I bought a film called "Waking Life," which inspired me to go to bed early again and begin again. I've now been working on my dream diary and recall, but it isn't going so well this time. Not giving up though!
I'll be lurking around looking for more advice and info. Until next time!
Cheers

Your very welcome here!
"Vanilla Sky" and "Waking Life" is two of the best, almost the only films related to lucid dreaming. They are great!
Being lucid is what its all about :) Its really great. And nice to see that youve experienced it. If its something you wonder about its just to surf the boards for information or ask if there is anything. Good luck on and see you at the boards!

I happened upon Waking Life by complete chance. I was purchasing "Baraka" on Amazon and they suggested it. I'm a philosophy major, obviously interested in philosophy, so I bought it and was blown away! Very cool movie!
