was i wilding or ld anywayz it was scary

okay so its like 1 a.m cuzz i wake up and i couldnt fall back asleep tell like 1:45 and i swear 1 second i was feeling fine the next i felt kinda wierd so i couldnt look at my hands cuzz it was 2 dark so i plugged my nose and breathed i could do it :o so i did another i have a missing tooth but suddenly i had a tooth right there :shock: so i knew i was dreaming wilding w/e so i was trying 2 stay calm and then suddenly i heard a verd loud thump and then another one like 3 yards away from my bed and i had a flashlight next 2 me like in real life i did and i turned it on and saw a big shadowman i freaked and he started walking towards me and i fought 2 wake up and when he was right next 2 me i opened my eyes freaked out :!: :shakehead2: was it wilding low level lucid dreaming or was it just a nightmare disaster

if you did those reality checks then it sounds like full blown lucidity. too bad your mind has fearful thoughts in it. tell yourself there is nothing to fear and try it again. or try and remember that you can beat anything and kick shadowmans flippin head in! that will teach him

WILD is a great way to become lucid...I'm guessing you don't want to do it again b/c you are a tad afraid from your last experience? Just realize that during a WILD you will have crazy hallucinations (visuals and audio) but it's actually alot of fun...as long as you can tell yourself it's all in your head.

I think that since this was a new experience for you, you entered the WILD feeling a bit scared b/c you couldn't see much, and then your mind (already afraid) manifested this "shadowperson" that scared the hell out of you. Just remember that nothing can hurt you when you are WILDing. I have seen some crazy and scary stuff BELIEVE ME! But when I think back about it to me it's actually quite cool...even funny.

If you aren't a fan of the whole sleep paralysis/weird vibrations stages that come with WILD I suggest you use a dream journal to figure out your dream signs so that you can start DILDing. There are tutorials for that and there is alot of info about dream signs so take a look through some of those forums. There are also several other methods you can try...just take a look through the tutorials section. But WILD and DILD are the only 2 that I use otherwise I'd give you more advice about the other ones.

Nina, I went to sleep one night and had a false awakening. I heard noises just outside my room and got scared. I thought they were aliens. I got up and flipped the light switch. no light, I'm lucid, but freaking out. could this be precursor to a WILD? I did a samurai jump with sword out of my bed to scare the aliens away and it kinda worked I guess, then I can't remember what happend. think i woke up.

you know, if you think about it, you won't be afraid of those things popping up when you're WILDing once you've experienced it like 10 times. it'll probably be scary the first time, then less and less scarier. so just force yourself to WILD, wanting and expecting the monsters to appear so that you can get used to it, and soon having a dead person in front of you won't be any more weirder than hearing barking sounds. And there's obviously a limit to how horrible the brain can form an image, unless you're constantly watching scary movies.

i know my dream signs they are zombies but i just want that 2 happend so bad in real life that i think its real in my dream and just go along with kicking there ass's .

Yeah kick there Ass if you must this is what Lucid Dreaming is all about. Soon you will have Lucid Dreams where you just walk up to a Dream Character and Kick thier Ass for no particular reason, just for the sport.. Man that Shit rocks and its so much fun. Just walking up to a DC and beating the crap out of them.. Cool stuff! :goodjob:
