newbie to this place
Hi guys this is my first post. I've been trying to LD for a while now and i can never remember to keep doing reality checks especially since i can't figure out my dream signs :? so recently I've been trying to WILD. I've read Yoshi's guide and the guide to end all guides and i can get SP but nothing happens has anyone got anytips on any of this? thanks :P

First of all, welcome.
Secondly, stuff won't just happen the first night, or even the second night. Read over the guides and know most of them inside out. You will probably do this by just lurking around anyway, but it's good to know what your options are for techniques and stuff.
Dreamsigns are not essential to doing reality checks, and reality checks aren't essential themselves. You just need to be committed, have faith in yourself and not get too stressed over this. Keep a regular sleep schedule and make sure to keep a dream journal.
Keep lurking and take it from there.

haha probably should have mentioned ive been trying for a about 2 months now and I'm up to 2 dreams a night. i have a dream journal. i tried LD about 2 years ago and got no where after around 8 months but i was relying purely on dream signs and hadnt looked into it that much (reece jones -_-) and now I'm trying a lot harder

:welcome:
Well about the RCs is only get used to do them, what helped me to remember is making a drawing in my of something that remembers me about dreams, in my case a dreamcatcher, and every time that I saw it I did a RC, it can work for you, with the time you can stop drawing and you will remember to do them, but everytime time that you do a RC think about what they mean, because if they turn into an automatic habit they may fail in dreams and this is frustrating. About the WILD it can be really hard, do you tried to wake up after 6 hours of sleep to do it? And if you keep thinking about how the lucid dream isn't comming in the SP you will lose focus and the LD will never come, you have to be completely relaxed and your mind completely empty or using a mantra like ''I am dreaming''. I think that is better for you try DILD first because require less effort.
Good Dreaming :sleepmeditate2:

Yeah Reece Jones knows his stuff, but he does also go into a lot of...less solid areas of dreaming. So I wouldn't take his words as truth on everything. He has some good guides on lucid dreaming though.
2 dreams a night after 2 months is alright, but could be better. Always try to dream more and more each night, and to not skip nights if you can help it.
