greetings from sweden
Hello, newbie here. I guess. I've been lurking DV for a loong time, a few years probably. Finally decided to join the fun.
Anyways, I'm an 19 year old swedish girl who finally got sick with not having anybody to talk to regarding Lucid dreams. Its really impossible to explain the magic of being lucid to someone else :P I understand it though, for the periods of time in my life when I haven't paid attention to my dreams they just "disappear", literally no dream recall at all for maybe 3 months ... And then it's really hard to convert someone who just remembers really blurry images or nothing at all from their dreams.
Anyways, i finally registred so I can gush about the amazeingness that is Lucid dreaming. So now my friends won't have to listen to me ranting about my nighttime adventures heh.

Hi Shiranui, welcome to the community :)
Yes, it's a shame that today's society dismisses dreams as worthless. I mean if you look back in many previous cultures, the dream realm was considered as important as the waking realm. I'm getting too deep now.
See you around!

Welcome to DV!
I feel your pain about not having people around you that are opened to discussing lucid dreaming. But this place is great. Make yourself at home. Happy dreams:)

Thanks for the welcome ^^, I'll see you all around then :)

Welcome welcome, when I read your dream instantly thought "Shiranui Hansode" from a manga I read <.<
I generally tell everyone about dreams, but yeah nobody wants to talk about it, oh well thats what the internet is for =D

None of my friends are interested in lucid dreaming. Every time I mention it, they ask me to interpret some dream they had as a kid. It seems like as soon as you mention dreaming, most people stop listening, and start thinking about their own dreams. I watch as their eyes glaze over...
