New around here
Hello all,
My name's Thalita, 23 years old and posting from the Netherlands :) I've had accidental lucid dreams for as long as I can remember. I've dabbled around a bit with trying to control it when I was about 16, but found that the dreams I actively controlled were a lot more boring than the vivid stories my subconcious threw my way when I just dreamed :P
Over the last year, my dreams have become very vivid and active, so I decided to look a few things up on google and ended up here. I'll probably post a bit, but lurk moar ;)

Welcome to Dream Views! We're welcome to have you here!
You've come across a good site. Feel free to "Lurk" and get acquainted. Remember, in your Lucids you have control, and can be as exciting as you please!
A Few Basics:
DILD- (Dream Induced Lucid Dream) You realize you're dreaming once already in a dream. Typically for begginners, and a bit lower clarity.
WILD- If you're a bit more advanced, or feel this would work better, try this. These can be slightly vivid, to more realistic than reality.
DV Dictionary - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views - I feel you'll find this useful, it covers our commonly used terms on this site!
Good Luck and Happy Dreaming!

Thanks :) I was already looking for that dictionary!

Welcome to DV!
If you find your lucids dull and not as pleasant as your non-lucids then you should teleport somewhere awesome or summon a few people. Having a tasklist helps alot with both motivation and achieving lucidity. Check out the various techniques and start writing down your dreams and you're halfway there!
If you're wondering about something, ask away!
