I'd say MILD, because it doesn't take a lot of time to do, so you won't lose as much sleep. However, MILD is used to induce DILDs... so I guess they're the same thing, in a way.
But I guess it just depends on how long it takes you to WILD. If you go to bed at 10 and get up at 6, and it takes you about say 30 minutes to WILD then you're still getting a decent amount of sleep. It's up to you, really.
I would have to agree with Raspberry and go for DILD. Unless you are able to go to bed earlier and get whatever the right amount of sleep that's necessary for you specifically to do a proper WBTB.
Let us know what ends up working for you ohmaigoshh. I'm constantly struggling with attaining lucidity on the nights before I have to get up for work myself. I have had some success with DEILD but I went to bed way early, and my bf was away so there were no interruptions.
Hey, ohmaigoshh! Welcome to Dreamviews :)
Check out my thread 'Find out What Technique is Right for You'. It should answer your questions and hopefully help you out :) Good luck with getting lucid. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! :)
I would say try them both! You can practice them at the same time. DILD/MILD you just fall asleep normally and wait to become lucid in your normal dream (after some easy daytime practice). And WILD - you wake up for WBTB. The beauty of WBTB is, that even if you don't get a WILD, your chances for a DILD will increase. The reason is, that you wake up your mind at the time when it's used to be asleep, so it's easier to become aware for a DILD. Happy dreams:)
