An Introduction
Though, this is not my first post, this is my introduction. I'm really excited to be involved in this forum! I have always been interested in dreaming, sleep, and the subconscious mind. A year or go or so, I attempted to lucid dream, I started a dream journal, but that's all the effort I put into it. I really hope to obtain lucidity, with the help of this forum and all of you.
A little bit about me,
My name is Trista and I'm a 17 year old girl who lives in St. Louis Missouri. I will be a senior in high school in the fall, and after high school I plan to major in Music, with a minor in Theatre Arts and get my masters in arts education. I plan to be a band director or theatre teacher. If that doesn't work out, I'd enjoy being a musical therapist!
Anyway, that's a little bit about me, what do you guys do/want to do out side of your dream worlds. I'd love to get to know you all.

Hi and welcome to DV!
I've had lucid dreams naturally since I was a kid. When I got older they were getting more and more rare. I did just like you and wrote down my dreams but that didn't produce any lucids. You have to start working on your awareness and know that it is possible to achieve lucidity if you just try. Choose a technique alongside your DJ'ing (improving your recall should be your top priority) and practice it. You'll get your first lucid soon enough :)
I'm 24 years old myself. A construction worker and I intend to stay one for a few years before I start studying for something else.
If you've got any questions, ask away!
