Hello!
Hi everyone! I am a very fresh newbie to the world of LD, but it has been fascination me recently, and I've always been interested in sleep in general, so I'm delving into this unknown terrain and already have made some progress based on readings here and elsewhere.
I have for the last few years now been totally dreamless, in the sense that I have no recollection of them on a conscious level. I am a musician and artist by trade, and I thought- I'm wasting a considerable amount of creative potential by not giving time and focus to my dreams. So here I am.
I started two days ago by performing regular RC all day, many times per day, I wrote a symbol on the back of my hand to remind me. I started a dream journal as well, which immediately helped me recall my dreams and experience them on a conscious level, which has been a huge breakthrough and is only boosting my enthusiasm for delving into LD. I have just started a regular pre-sleep recollection of the day to improve my long-term memory and possibly organize the day's thoughts for easier peace of mind and focus during the night- no news on whether this is helping or not.
Anyways, there's me rambling. I am just figuring out the forum, so I'll be posting regularly in DJ and such things.
If there is anything you have to offer, please don't hold back! I will also say this;
I am very interested in LD for a number of reasons- creative potential, enjoying myself, testing and exploring different ideas, deeper introspection- but my real fascination and interest is with philosophical explorations and figuring out new levels to the mind's possibilities. If anyone has any kind of interesting questions, observations, or remarks of any kind regarding this area of philosophical discussion in relation to LD, I would be extremely interested, so either post here (if that's the proper way to do it) or PM me.
Excited to talk more!:shadewink:

Sounds like you are on the right track. It is cool how quickly our dreams improve once we start giving them attention. Keep it up, and you will soon have more creative ideas than you know what to do with. Keep us posted on how you are doing, and feel free to ask if you come up with any questions :)
