I, Oneironaut
Hello all!
I have been lurking for some time. Monday, after 22 nights and various naps I have successfully went lucid using the MILD method. I maintained for about a minute. In the dream I flew (not very well), changed the weather twice while hovering, and confronted a long time nightmare entity which resolved itself very well.
This experience was so amazing it displaced skydiving in thrill value which held the number one spot for me for 14 years.
I would like to thank whoever is responsible for footing the webhosting bill for this site and every author of the many guides I have read here.
For a long time I had subtle doubts about the validity of lucid dreams. No longer! I've been telling everyone about it who is willing to listen but it is like trying to describe the ocean to someone that has never even seen a picture of it.
Now, to get lucid number 2!

Welcome to the forums!
That's a great experience you had and it's similar to my first one. The fact that lucid dreaming replaced the number one spot on your top thrill list over one that had been there for 14 years really is something and I think everyone should experience it. Good luck with #2 :)

:welcome: Yes, please, spread the word about lucid dreaming. I am surprised so many people still do not know about it. Hopefully you will spark some curiosity in a few people.

Thanks guys!
Thousands flipping me off! HAHA!
I thought I read somewhere that most people get at least a quick dream (couple seconds) around 2 weeks with the proper amount of effort. I thought I was a little behind the curve for when it occurred but I was surprised at the vividness and control.
Maybe, I'm ahead because I didn't tell anyone I was trying so no one told me I couldn't?
No real dreams the last two nights but I was a bit imbibed for one of them.

congrats :P your lucid was longer than my 6 combined -.-
@robot, I like this "underground" community since we all are individuals and not just another noob who asked a question and didn't use the search button
