      Greetings from florida dreamers!

Hey guys! My name is Elio and I'm very excited to join this forum since Ive always been interested in lucid dreaming. Ive only had it happen a few times though but hoping to get a lot better at it

One thing Ive noticed since I've been remembering my dreams I'm very passive I don't take control in the dream just watch like my last dream. I was riding shotgun in a car and the dc driving said "This is the force push" and with his hand our car along with all the cars on the road began to float to his whim I just accepted it didn't really try it my self just watched I guess I'm not conscious enough to take the wheel? Any suggestions?

      Hey and welcome to dv!

Don't worry too much about that, it may take a few experiences for you to build up a good amount of consciousness in your dreams. I personally like to just go with the flow of my dream at times, nothing wrong with this.

Read http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-124786/ and browse through the Wiki for some helpful information.

As in everything else, it will take practice to get the best results, but the one difference from dreaming and reality is that in dreams 97% of your results are based on how you feel about it. Staying positive and knowing you'll become awesome at dreaming is the key factor when it all boils down.

These little things will help you so much as well-
      Keep up a dream journal
imagine what you plan to do once you become lucid
      establish a regular sleep schedule
      remain relatively stress free

      Good luck!
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Wow. If you've already have had some Lucids, then I'm sure you'll get more soon if you work for it

      Welcome to DreamViews!

OctoberWind gave you some good advice above. Check out the material, it really helps get you started.

Our WIKI has some good information also. Check out the Dream Control Tutorial and the Summoning Tutorial. Both should help you with control in your dreams.

Even a passive lucid dream is something to be proud of. So many people never even get those.

Keep up the journal and happy dreaming! If you have any questions please feel free to post them or you can send me a private message by clicking on my profile name and using the links.

There is nothing wrong with being passive in dreams. Sometimes there is so much happening around you, it is fun to just sit back and experience all the excitement.
