Lucid Dreaming :D
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to say Hello!
I've seen things about lucid dreaming from time to time, and I really feel like it's something that I've wanted to try. I've had quite a few reoccuring dreams in the past where I've sort of known it's a dream, but haven't been able to control it, but at the same time I've always felt like I could or should have been able to.
I'm going give this a try, I think I'll make a blog about my experiences with lucid dreaming. The idea of it excites me a lot! I've always thought dreams are incredably powerful and underrated in general.
I'm excited to get started and see what awaits me!
=D

Welcome to the forum. :)
The idea of keeping a blog is really useful, because as Dave said, the more you think about dreaming the better your chances. A blog will keep you thinking about dreaming because you'll be constantly talking about it. Most people like to keep a dream journal which is basically what it says on the tin, a journal for your dreams. If you prefer typing like I do then this is a perfect place to start! Each time you dream, write down a few important words to do with your dream in a notepad and then later read the notes and type up everything you can remember about the dream; the feeling and the scenario. This will train a specific type of memory called dream re-call, which is what you're using when you're remembering back to what happened in the dream, training it will allow you to remember more of the dream giving you the illusion that the dream lasts longer.
When an idea excites you, it means you're on the correct path and things should be easy for you. Good luck! :)
