just a few questions on WILD

i know WILD isnt the best technique to start off with but its the one i want to use so ill have to learn it someday right?

so i have a few questions.

      1. i understand that while you are waiting for your body to go to sleep it will test your mind to make sure it is asleep. My question is this: if your body is making you have muscle spasms how are you supposed to control it?

      2. when your body does fall asleep what should happen?

      3. how long does it take approximately to enter the dream after SP?

thats about all im curious about now... i have a goal to have my first LD in 2 months or less (hopefully less though )

      Thanks for your help

      Hey there! Welcome to DV

Check out this link, it should answer your questions (there are also other related links at the bottom of the post): http://www.dreamviews.com/f79/mancon...ml#post1712939

P.S. When I get sudden muscle spasms or twitches, I usually just let them happen. They usually come out when a body part is really itchy, and i resist scratching it. Then that body part would suddenly twitch.

      Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

WILD is a lot like falling asleep. You don't worry about itches and twitches when you fall asleep, do you? Just ignore them, scratch them, or whatever seems easiest. You want to focus on what is happening with your mind, and not worry about your body.
