Hey everyone!
A week ago I had the most amazing dream I've ever had. In this dream I could control whatever happened as I wanted, which has never occured to me before.
In this dream, I was jumping down the street where I live, and it felt so real. I was jumping really high, higher than I've ever jumped before. So I got to this hill and there I started jumping around it like mad. And I thought, I wanna jump higher! And so I did. I jumped over the trees and I looked down at the houses under me. At last, I saw a plane in the sky. "Could I be able to get that high?" I thought. I charged and leaped into the sky, up to the plane. I came up so high that I clinged on to the plane wings with my hands. So I dragged it down into the river.
I woke up, in the middle of the night, all excited over what had happened. I had heard before that some people said they could control their dreams. But I thought, may it just have been another ordinary dream I had, and could I've just "imagined" those feelings I had? But I was still unsure. It felt so real.
So I talked to my friends. But they didn't think that much of it, and they just thought I was kidding with them. "Dreams can't be controlled" they said. Feeling a bit dissapointed I dropped the subject, until later.
Coincidentally, a forum I visited often had this discussion about dreaming. I told about what I had experienced and that I was puzzled about what really happened in my dream. It was there I first heard about the term Lucid Dreaming. This guy said he had recently discovered the phenomena called Lucid Dreaming and that he had just had his first Lucid Dream. "I knew it was something was weird with that dream" I thought.
So this guy tipped me about this site, among others. But this site had a convenient forum so I kinda decided to stay here :) And that is my story (or beginning) of LD. Man, I must be bored to be able to write something this long :-P Or you could say I've got nothing else to do at the moment. It's not like LD is boring :D
I'm looking forward to be able to dream like that again. I'm very eager to learn more about this phenomena. I'm happy I found this site. Well, you'll see me around the forums from now on folks. I hope I will be able to learn much :)
