Sp/lucid dreaming intro
I am new to this site and i was wondering if i could get some advise on lucid dreaming. i am also a long term sufferer of sleep paralysis, some people have good experiences from it, but for me pretty much all of them have been weird hallucinations (visual/sounds) the sounds being the most annoying, also most of them in the past have ended up giving me a panic attack in my sleep.
but i really want to try out lucid dreaming, i would appreciate tips on how to do it, and also if i ever have another sp attack i would love to learn how to change it into a more positive dreaming state :)

Welcome to DV!!!
When most people get SP they can break it instntly or in seconds with concious effort. Only a small amount of people have it as a sleep issue. LDers just are aware of it during a type of trance state called a WILD attempt, but are able to break it. So, most of us may not have the same idea as you about SP/ What you should do if you want to use your sleep problem SP for LDs is to stop trying to move and close your eyes, then start trying to imagine things like in a day dream.
